A working knowledge of copyright law and fair use is an essential component of information and technology literacy. Technology now allows all forms of information to be digitized and instantly distributed around the globe. As the availability of vast amounts of information increases, so does the possibility of copyright infringement. This website provides basic copyright and fair use information and provides a set of guidlelines for creating Multimedia products containing copyrighted materials.
