The Department of Child Nutrition Services for Avery County Schools strives to
serve low cost, nutritious meals to our students every day. Applications for
free and reduced meals are sent home with each child at the beginning of the
school year. If you did not get an application or need assistance with the form,
please contact your child's school.

REQUEST for BID is hereby solicited for full service supplier to provide bakery and beverages necessary for the 2008-2009 school year operation of School Foodservice programs in AveryCounty in Western North Carolina. Estimated total annual dollars spent on bakery and beverages is $50,000.00.Weekly deliveries will be required to 9 school sites throughout the county. Sealed bids to be opened May20th, 2008 with all request for additional product approval due no later than May 22 th, 2008.
