School Bus Driver training will be held March 18th through 20th, 2008 from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. at Avery County High School.

Thirty four school buses provide transportation for 1,300 students over 2,400 miles each day. Transportation personnel and bus drivers
are well-trained and dedicated to serving our students safely. A Cost and Efficiency Study for School Bus Transportation was conducted during the year,
and bus route districts were reorganized to serve the schools more efficiently.
