Good morning,
If you have a teacher-made exam scheduled for today, it is available online. Check your email for directions from your teacher. If you do not complete the exam, you will receive a zero. Please remember that the teacher-made exam may count as 20% of your grade.
Attendance appeals are due TOMORROW, 12/12. If we are not in school tomorrow, appeals are still due. I emailed an electronic copy of the attendance appeal earlier this week. You may fill that one out and email it back to me or you can take a picture of the completed appeal and email it to me. No late appeals will be accepted.
If you are taking an EOC or CTE test next week, you have been sent an email with the date of the test and the room number you will be testing in. Please check your emails for this information.
Stay safe and warm!

Good evening,
ACHS will be giving the North Carolina End-of-Course exams for Math 1, Math 3, Biology, and English II from December 15-19th. This year, there is an EOC retesting opportunity for students who score non-proficient on an EOC test . Students may retest during the same testing window, December 15-19. The English II retesting will occur in January due to delayed score reports. This retest will give students another opportunity to meet proficiency and/or increase their final grade for the class. Students EOC test scores count as 20% of their final grade for the class. If students retake the test, the highest score will be used to calculate their final grade.
We will offer remediation for students who are retaking the test on Wednesday, December 17th from 1:00 to 3:00. Your child's teacher will be facilitating the remediation. Students are not required to attend remediation to re-take the test. The EOC tests will be re-adminstered on Thursday, December 18th beginning at 8:15. If your child is taking an EOC test and does not meet proficiency once taking the test the first time, a staff member from school will call you on Tuesday, December 16th to let you know that your child can come to remediation and come to re-take the EOC test. We do need either written or verbal permission from a parent for a student to re-test. A letter about. this was sent home with students on December 4th. Please call your child's teacher with any questions. Thank you and have a good evening.
