Hello- this is a reminder to 3rd,4th and 5th graders that tomorrow is the Amazing Shake. Please come dressed to impress! It is going to be an exciting day!

Amistad will continue to sell CandyGrams tomorrow morning. These are $1 each.

The house of Amistad will start selling CandyGrams tomorrow for Valentine's Day. These will Be sold through Wednesday for $1 each. Finally- this Amazing Shake Competition will take place this Thursday for students in 3-5.

Parents and families. Remote day assignments will be posted to the RCA app. Please make sure you check the app for those assignments later today . You do not need to come get physical copies at the school. There will not be Google meets. If you have questions please message in a direct message- not the group to your child's teacher or Mr. carver.

The 4th grade ski trip planned for tomorrow has been rescheduled for Feb 26th. Parents please make sure you are checking the RCA app for info. If you are not seeing messages please sign out and back into the app. Thank you and we hope to see everyone tomorrow!

4/5 Girls! A link to sign up for Girls on the Run was just posted on the RCA app. The club will begin Feb 16th. We only have space for 15 girls on the team. It will be a first come first place. Please go to the messaging app to sign your student up.

Hello- this is Banner Elk School calling to wish you all a Happy 2026! Students will return this Wednesday. A reminder that after school will not start back until Jan 12th. We are excited to welcome students back on Wednesday!

Tomorrow the Christmas store will be open starting at 7:25. All items but few are 2 dollars. Students may shop during the day. The store will close at 2:45 tomorrow if items are not sold out prior. Tomorrow is also pajama day. If you wear slippers please bring shoes for PE.

The school musical is a GO! The show will begin at 5:45pm. Students in PreK to 3rd please arrive at 4:45. This is also when gym doors will open. Students in 4/5 arrive at 4:15. Alumni coming please wear black shirts and jeans and arrive at 4:30.

Our school musical will be held tomorrow at 5:45. If school Should be closed due to weather we will evaluate roads and forecast and make a decision by 1pm if the musical will still happen or be postponed.

Hello 4th and 5th parents. Typically the day of the show parents can come early morning to reserve seats. With the weather and possible delay on Friday- I am moving reserved morning time to tomorrow morning (Thursday) . Any parent of a 4/5 student can come to school to come to the gym and reserve seating for the play starting at 6am. This is a first come first serve system. I will also be in line to reserve for my family. Thank you and see you tomorrow- Mr. carver.

The school improvement team meeting will now be held after school at 3pm. So sorry for the changes in schedule. If you are unable to attend if you serve on this team- Mr. Carver will reach out to you after the meeting. There is no play practice today after school. Practice will be tomorrow until 4pm.
