Congrats to Emsley Townsend for being the middle school Amazing Shake Champion today. We are so proud of her and the other students from CMS and AMS who competed today. You represented your school and the county well. Also a big thank you to DECA who supported the middle school competition this year. CMS parents - We need your help! Some of our students are having trouble getting back and forth from school with their iPad chargers. Some students leave them at home, and some say they have lost theirs. Please take a moment this evening and help them locate what they need to keep their iPads charged and ready to use. This will be very helpful in avoiding unnecessary class disruptions. If a student has lost a charger or just the cord, replacement costs are as follows: Charger - $25, Charger cord- $10 Please let us know if we can help ensure your student's assigned iPad is ready to use. Thank you!

Even with winter weather, it's time for Spring sports workouts! -Softball Workouts next Tuesday/Thursday (Jan 30/Feb 1) 3-4:30pm -Baseball Workouts next Monday through Friday (Jan 29-Feb 2) 3-5pm **Both will have tryouts Monday Feb 5** **Note: students must have a current physical and completed Final forms online. We want to thank Gear for Groms for coming to CMS to support our young skiers and riders in Avery County. They are helping equip them with soft goods so they can have a fun night of skiing and riding on the slopes.
