The Avery Middle School girl's basketball team finished a perfect season (14-0) after defeating Cranberry Middle School on January 12, 2023. The Lady Panthers defeated Cranberry again in the first round of the WHMC tournament on January 19, 2023. On January 24, 2023, the Lady Panthers defeated Cane River Middle to advance to the finals. The Lady Panthers will play Rosman Middle on January 30, 2023 at Madison Middle School for the conference tournament championship. Tip off is at 5:00p.m.
