Tomorrow will be our first day of Spirit Week. Monday is Wacky Tacky Day. The student and staff member with the craziest outfit will win house points each day. Please be mindful of proper shoes for PE tomorrow. 4th and 5th grade students will have play practice tomorrow after school until 3:30.

BES will host a hat day this Friday. The cost is 1 dollar. All proceeds will go to the Samuelson family- (an Avery County schools educator who recently passed away unexpectedly). We encourage more donations for the family if you are able to contribute! Thank you!

Tomorrow is the first day of school! Drop off begins at 7:25 and the tardy bell rings at 7:45. Breakfast will end at 7:40. Kindergarten and PreK students will come at 9am tomorrow. Hello Banner Elk Families. Tomorrow at 4:30pm we will kick off the new school year with our Open House. Come show your school spirit- meet your child's teacher and get ready to have an amazing school year. Open House will run from 4:30-6:00 with a parent meeting in the gym at 4:45pm.
