Good Evening Crossnore Families, We will be taking our Fall pictures Thursday morning. Please return Appalachian State Mountaineer Reading Logs by Friday. Students who participate will get baseball tickets and the top readers will receive football tickets to an App State Football Game. There will be No School Monday, September 2nd for the Labor day Holiday.

Good evening, Tomorrow will be the first day of school with school starting promptly at 8:00am. We look forward to seeing you in the morning.

Good evening Crossnore Families, We will have Open House tomorrow night from 4-7pm. Parent meetings will be conducted in the gym for Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd at 5:30pm and another meeting for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade parents at 6:00pm. We will have a 5th grade Charleston trip meeting at the conclusion of the last meeting for all 5th grade parents.

Tomorrow is the Last Day of School. There will be no after school as school will dismiss at 12:00. Tomorrow will be Awards Day. The schedule will be as follows: 8:20- Pre-K Promotion 9:00- Kindergarten Promotion 9:30- 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th Grade Awards 11:00- 5th Grade Awards and Promotion Ceremony. We would like to invite all parents as we will celebrate all students tomorrow.

We will not have school on Monday in observance of Memorial Day as we remember the ultimate sacrifices of many that give us the freedoms we enjoy today because, Freedom Isn't Free. Next week will be our last week of school. Tuesday will be Field Day. Please bring extra clothes on Tuesday, because you will probably get wet.

Hello, Tomorrow is our 5th Grade Trip to Charleston. Please be at the school by 5:30am as we will be leaving by 6:00am sharp. We will be making a bathroom only stop in the morning. You may eat breakfast before you come or you may bring a snack(tree nut free) for the trip. Please limit drinks on the bus to water with screw on lids. No Stanley's, Tervis, or other cups. A special shoutout to our amazing faculty and staff for the beautiful decorations and the great support and organizing of our PTO. Spring Fling wouldn't have been possible without our PTO. Crossnore's Spring Filing will be held tonight from 5:30 to 8:00. We will have Spring Fling rain or shine. If it rains everything will be moved inside and inflatables will be in the gym. Admission is $5.00. All proceeds made will go back the students at Crossnore Elementary School. Also there will be no after school this evening. Please come out and support our students.
