Good evening this is Dr J from Cranberry Middle with a few announcements for our CMS family.
First, tomorrow, Friday, Aug 29 will be a hat day at CMS. We will having hat days each Friday going forward. Students just need to bring a dollar to wear a hat for the day. The funds we raise will go right back to our students through our clubs program that students are signing up for on Friday.
Second, parents, please ask your students to show you their planners the school has provided. This is a great way for us to maintain a steady flow of communication between home and school. Let us know if you have any questions about our planners.
Third, we need donations of tear-free baby shampoo for our Wildcat Celebration next Friday, Sep 6. We'll have a Wildcat Waterslide, weather permitting, and we need lots of that shampoo to help with the slide.
Finally, a reminder that Monday, Sep 2, Avery County Schools will be closed in observance of Labor Day.
Thank you for your support of Cranberry Middle and I hope you have a great evening!

Please contact your child's health care provider or the Avery County Health Department to update vaccines. We do need proof of immunization upon return to school.
