Registration is open for all YMCA fall youth recreation programs for students in grades pre-K – 5th grade. Fall Recreation programs include rec soccer, swim team, SPIRIT dance program and club basketball. Monday, August 26th is the last day to sign up for some of these programs. The school improvement team meeting and PTO meeting scheduled for tomorrow at 5:30 will now be held on Thursday at 5:30. Apologies for the schedule change. This meeting is open to all parents. We will discuss goals- budgets- and the upcoming fall fling.
Tomorrow our Kinder students will join their new house. Kinder families are encouraged to come to school to be apart of this at 7:50am. Parents will wait in the front until Jungle Jam begins. Please drop off in line and then come back and park to walk in.
All students needs to wear their new Just BE shirts tomorrow and add in their house colors with it! Bring the energy and spirit!

After School application emails were sent out from the YMCA recently. If you have not enrolled please do so. The YMCA has just notified us that after school care will not begin until September 3rd due to staffing issues. We just wanted to make parents aware of this information now for planning purposes.

Remember tomorrow is Field Day! Wear clothes and shoes that can get wet Due to potential injury: NO sandals, flip flops or CROCS Water shoes or tennis shoes are BEST Students should bring dry clothes to change into after their activities, along with a bag to put wet clothes in. This includes a towel, shoes, socks, and underwear.Sunscreen should be put on at home

5th grade will go to Grandfather Mtn tomorrow. 2nd grade will go to the Y to swim.
5th graders will take the Science EOG tomorrow at 7:50am. Please remember your headphones.
Also please be on the lookout for tear free baby shampoo for kickball on field day on the 28th.
Tomorrow 3rd graders will take the Reading EOG.
Also tomorrow at 1:40 will be Jungle Jam. We will host 3rd grade parents!
