Avery County Little League will be signing up for the 2022/23 baseball and softball season on Saturday, March 4th and Saturday, March 18th in the lower level of the Avery County Library (these are the final dates for registration). Thank you to Lees McRae Theater department in the cast of the upcoming play James and the Giant Peach. These actors came by school to talk to students about the upcoming play next week that they will attend! We love our arts partners!
We are still selling candy grams tomorrow! All grams will be delivered tomorrow as well. They are 1.00 each. All proceeds will go to one of our BES families who experienced an unexpected loss. Thank you for rallying behind our people!!
Due to declining conditions and the overnight forecast, the Avery County School System will be CLOSED tomorrow, Monday, February 13, 2023 with an OPTIONAL TEACHER WORKDAY.
