Good Evening Crossnore Families, Next Tuesday, October 29th we will be having a Trunk or Treat for our students and families in the school parking lot from 4 to 6 pm. Please come out and see our PTO, Good News Club, your Crossnore teachers and staff as well as members of the Crossnore Fire Department. We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday.

Good Morning Crossnore Parents, When coming to Parent PE day today or tomorrow all parents must enter and exit the building through the front office and sign in. Please check the lost and found table at the front door for any items your child may be missing from home. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Good Evening Crossnore Parents, Picture Money is due tomorrow. We will be having Parent PE day tomorrow and Thursday. Each student should have brought home information about it last week and again today. Please come out and participate with your child. Friday will be Hat Day. All Hat Day proceeds will be given to the Cheuvront family. We hope to see you at Parent PE Day.

Good Evening Crossnore Families, Tomorrow night at 5:00pm we will be having our 5th Grade Charleston Trip Meeting. We will be finishing out our Sprit Week with Favorite Sports Team Day tomorrow and School Sprit Day on Friday. Wear your Crossnore gear or your Avery Viking gear. Friday will also be an early dismissal day with school dismissing at 12:00 sharp.

Good Evening Crossnore Families, Today we had a practice lockdown drill that went well. Lastly, next Thursday, September 19th at 5:00 we will have a 5th grade Charleston trip meeting in the library. We hope to see all 5th grade parents next Thursday.

Good Evening Crossnore Families, Moon Pie orders are due tomorrow. Picture proofs are coming home tomorrow. You may order online or send in with order form. Orders are due September 26th. Crossnore shirt order forms came home today for students and families to order shirts. Have a good evening.

Good evening Crossnore Families, I would like to let you know about the release of the North Carolina School Report Card. I am very proud to let you know that Crossnore Elementary School received a letter grade of B and exceeded growth. Our success is made possible by an amazing staff, students, parents, and community. I would like to thank everyone that helps make Crossnore amazing.

Reminder: Today is picture day!

Registration is open for all YMCA fall youth recreation programs for students in grades pre-K – 5th grade. Fall Recreation programs include rec soccer, swim team, SPIRIT dance program and club basketball. Monday, August 26th is the last day to sign up for some of these programs. Good Evening Crossnore Families, We will be taking our Fall pictures Thursday morning. Please return Appalachian State Mountaineer Reading Logs by Friday. Students who participate will get baseball tickets and the top readers will receive football tickets to an App State Football Game. There will be No School Monday, September 2nd for the Labor day Holiday.

Good evening, Tomorrow will be the first day of school with school starting promptly at 8:00am. We look forward to seeing you in the morning.

Good evening Crossnore Families, We will have Open House tomorrow night from 4-7pm. Parent meetings will be conducted in the gym for Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd at 5:30pm and another meeting for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade parents at 6:00pm. We will have a 5th grade Charleston trip meeting at the conclusion of the last meeting for all 5th grade parents.

Tomorrow is the Last Day of School. There will be no after school as school will dismiss at 12:00. Tomorrow will be Awards Day. The schedule will be as follows: 8:20- Pre-K Promotion 9:00- Kindergarten Promotion 9:30- 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th Grade Awards 11:00- 5th Grade Awards and Promotion Ceremony. We would like to invite all parents as we will celebrate all students tomorrow.

Good evening Crossnore families, We have had a great testing week. We will not have school on Monday in observance of Memorial Day as we remember the ultimate sacrifices of many that give us the freedoms we enjoy today because, Freedom Isn't Free. Next week will be our last week of school. Tuesday will be Field Day. Please bring extra clothes on Tuesday, because you will probably get wet.
