Yearbooks are one of the great memories of school that students and parents cherish forever. The last day to order Yearbooks is Friday, February 27th with a cost of $20. If you would like to purchase a Yearbook please send in $20 with your student.
Good morning 5th grade parents,
Our next Charleston trip payment is due the next day we are in school. At this point 70% of the trip balance should be paid in full. All trip balances must be paid in full no later than March 20th as we must make our final payment to our tour company. We will also have a final mandatory trip meeting for all participants to finalize all trip details in late March or early April when the weather clears.
For remote learning today, Remote Day 6 Math and Remote Day 6 Science work is in each students remote day folder. It has also been posted and is in the front office as well.

There will be no afterschool this evening. We have received word from the YMCA that because of inadequate staffing there will be no afterschool today Monday, December 15th.
Quick Reminder: Christmas Performance tonight @ First Baptist Church Crossnore. Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grades will start at 6:00pm. 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades will start at 7:30pm.

Due to the snow and the hazardous conditions our Christmas performance tonight has been canceled. We will reschedule to a later date to be determined.

As you know today is a remote learning day. Yesterday was an assessment day for us and we did not send home iPads as we were working until the end of the day and did not see any forecast of inclement weather.
Each student should have a red folder for Math and Teal folder for ELA, which contains work for Remote days. Students should do work on Day #2 today. Both teachers will offer Google Meets today, however since we did not send home iPads, it will not be required to join the meets today, Wednesday, December 3rd. Each Google Meet has a QR code attached to their Remote Day work.

Please remember during Field Trips students must ride the bus back to the school unless written permission from both parties has been given and approved prior to the Field Trip departing the building. Once the Field Trip leaves the building only the legal parent/guardian may pick up the student.
