Good Evening 5th Grade Parents, I am calling to inform you of a change of schedule for our 5th Grade trip. Our 5th grade trip will be Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, April 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused but I had written the date down wrong. Everything else will remain the same except the date. Have a great evening.

Good evening, As remote learning days continue students need to join, if at all possible, their classrooms Google Meet at 10:00am. Due to the amount of instructional time missed, we will begin teaching new material on remote learning days to bridge the gap of learning loss. If you would like your student to bring home their iPad, please fill out the permission.

Opportunity: A church from the Greensboro area will be hosting a Christmas Eve toy and gift drive on Tuesday, December 24,starting at 11am at the Newland Elementary School parking lot. All are welcome. -This is NOT an Avery County Schools event-

Good evening, Tomorrow will be the last day of school before Christmas break. It will also be an early dismissal with school dismissing at 11:50am. No afterschool tomorrow. Student performances Pre-K->2nd grade starts at 9:00am and 3rd->5th starting at 10:00am. If you would like to take your child home after their performance please sign them out with their teacher. Good evening Crossnore families, We will be having Christmas Store Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. This year the Christmas Store will be free thanks to generous donations and the hard work of our PTO. Wednesday will be our ugly Christmas Sweater day. Friday will be our Christmas carol singing by our students. Pre-K, kindergarten, 1st & 2nd will be @ 9am. 3rd, 4th, & 5th will be @ 10am.

Good evening Crossnore families, We would like to take a moment to thank Vikki and Melvin Pittman, Big Meadows Baptist church, Patricia Shook, Crossnore Elementary staff, and other church members for hosting an amazing event for children today. Today's event put a smile on children's faces and took a burden off of our families. Again, thank you to all that helped today.

Good morning, I need to clarify and clear up a misunderstanding about today's 5th Grade Parent PE Day. There will not be a 5th grade Parent PE Day today because all 5th grade did it together on September 25th. Today's PE Day is a makeup for all that missed due to no school on September 26th. All 5th grade will be doing Art today to finish up a project. Thank you for your understanding.

Hello, Please send back the blue Remote Day folders and completed work folder the next day we are in school. With all the missed days you may not have gotten to purchase a picture of your child with Santa. The cost is $5 for a paper frame & $10 for a magnetic frame. Pictures will be taken Friday or the next day we are in school. All picture proceeds go to our 5th grade Charleston Trip.

Hello Crossnore, Tomorrow is the last day to purchase Santa Pictures. Pictures are $5 for cardboard frames and $10 for magnetic frames. There will be no Good News Club tomorrow. Thanksgiving break will start Wednesday and go through Sunday, December 1st. Have a great evening.

Also remember the YMCA's message that there will be no after school on Monday or Tuesday.
