The Avery County Board of Education will hold its regular monthly board meeting on Tuesday, February 7, 2023. A work session will begin at 4:30 p.m. with the regular meeting beginning at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at 775 Cranberry Street in Newland at the Avery County Central Services office.

Good evening! Snow is in the forecast again for our area overnight tonight around midnight along with temperatures in the teens in the morning hours. Therefore, the Avery County School System will operate on a Two Hour Delay Tomorrow, Friday January 27, 2023.
