Volleyball tryouts will be held August 4th & 5th from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the Avery Middle School gym. Attendance is mandatory on both days of tryouts. All parent and athlete final forms must be completed / updated and a current sports physical must be on hand or uploaded in order to participate.

Please join us on December 16th at 6:30 PM in the gymnasium at Avery High School for the Avery County Band's winter concert! The show will feature performances by the AMS Panther Band, the CMS Wildcat Band, and the ACHS Viking Band.

Basketball practice after school tomorrow- Girls - 3:00-4:30 Boys - 4:30-6:00

We are looking forward to having the building full of students again! We will begin homeroom at 9:55 tomorrow morning in order to stagger start times with the high school. We understand that drop offs, buses, and traffic will all be something that requires flexibility. Welcome back!

Anyone who would like to participate with cheerleading for basketball season should see Ms. Peele on Thursday, 7th November, during Panther Plus for an interest meeting. Tryouts will happen the following week. Please have a current physical and all information complete in final forms before tryouts.

Middle School wrestling at Dogtown Wrestling Club Wednesday, 30th October, at 6:00PM Monday-Thursday, 4th-7th November, at 6:00 PM. You must have a current physical to participate.
