At the August Board of Education meeting, the SkillsUSA team was formally recognized for their outstanding participation in the 2025 National Leadership and Skills Conference held in Atlanta, Georgia.
Board members and the Superintendent proudly acknowledged the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments of these students who represented the district on a national stage. Mrs. Edwards and Dr. Penley personally presented each team member with a certificate of achievement and extended their heartfelt congratulations!
The Board commended the students for demonstrating excellence in their respective skill areas and serving as positive ambassadors for the district. Their success is a reflection of both their personal commitment and the support of the dedicated staff who helped prepare them for competition.
