At the October 14, 2025 Board of Education meeting, the Avery County Schools Board recognized the incredible contributions of the Avery Young Professionals team for their ongoing efforts to support the community.
Mr. Dalton Kilby accepted the recognition on behalf of the group and shared the organization’s commitment to giving back to Avery County. Following the recognition, Mr. Kilby presented the 2025 Avery Educator Grant recipients, providing valuable support to enhance educational programs and opportunities for students.
The Avery Young Professionals team has worked diligently to raise funds with the goal of reinvesting directly into the community. Their generosity and dedication are making a real difference in the lives of students and educators across Avery County.
