The Avery County High School Band was recently invited to a Board of Education meeting to be recognized and celebrated for their outstanding achievements and numerous positive ratings earned throughout the season. Board members and staff proudly honored the band for their dedication, talent, and commitment to excellence.
Following the presentation, the band performed “Country Roads, Take Me Home,” providing a special musical moment that was enjoyed by all in attendance.
The Avery County High School Band is led by instructor Mr. Jeff Hodges, whose dedication and hard work have played a vital role in the success of these students. Avery County Schools sincerely appreciates Mr. Hodges and the continued effort and passion he brings to music education.
